The fifth update for Free My Desktop is now available.
This update adds the ability to set a global keyboard shorctut to toggle your desktop on or off. You can find it in the menu.
Once set up you never have to click on the menubar again if you don’t want to you can toggle it on and off using the shorcut.

Thanks to Privata300 for writing a ticket about it. It was a relatively short feature to add, but one that makes you think “Why didn’t I think about it before?”. It is so obvious and so useful to be able to just toggle it on the fly whenever you want to.
The direct download is now available, for the automatic update it is going to roll out gradually in the next few hours and days. Remember that you can always force an automatic update by opening the menu and selecting “Check for Updates”.
